The gas yield of a biogas plant mostly depends on the intensity of the anaerobic microbial decomposition of the feedstock. High speed disruptor for solid matter
The DisRuptor uses a rotor with six blades as well as an outer DisRuptor ring. At high rotor speeds, the solid matter in the liquid is milled and frayed in the narrow gap between the rotor unit and the external ring. The gap can be individually adjusted to the application and the substrate. Thanks to these unique features, the DisRuptor offers particularly flexible and efficient mechanical treatment.

Solid matter feeder intensive mixing

The CC-Mix requires minimum power to mash the cosubstrates with the liquid to form a homogeneous suspension, thus providing the conditions for optimum fermentation in the digestor. The solid matter is transported into the mixing chamber via a feed screw at the side or from above. At the same time, liquid is added at the beginning of the mixing chamber. Thanks to the unique design of the CC-Mix, the solid matter is transported actively into the fluid, and both are mixed intensively by the mixing shaft equipped with ripping teeth and paddles.

The PreMix system is a combination of our progressive cavity pump (CC series) with the effective RotaCut.The RotaCut cuts any coarse and fibrous particles in the organic suspension, and homogenises the medium optimally, before it is fed to the digester. As the cosubstrates are in the form of a mashed, pumpable suspension that promotes bacteria growth, one PreMix can easily supply multiple digesters. Separating out foreign matter and cutting disruptive matter also extends the lifetime of the pump unit. At the same time, the thorough treatment creates ideal conditions for high gas yields.

The compact DebrisCatcher is therefore used for protecting pumps and plant components. The unique housing shape of the Vogelsang DebrisCatcher was developed with the help of flow simulations for optimal use of gravity for separation of metal parts and stones.The heavy material contained in the product reliably sinks into the separator. Other foreign matter carried along with the liquid flow is retained at the sieve, from which it is guided into the separator by the rotary clearing units.
