Closed and Open Impeller

Salvatore open process pump

 SR HDM / HGM pumps with closed and open impellers is suitable for conveying either clean liquids or liquids containing a small percentage of solids in suspension.

The HGM open impeller can be used for pumping liquids with suspended solids (not filamentous), also viscous, with gas or air. They are used in general industrial service, food manufacturing industry, water/solvent recovery process, water treatment plants, small evaporator plants and applications where a cast 316 stainless pump is required and the budget calls for some value engineering.

Salvatore Robuschi RS pumps with recessed Vortex impeller provides soft pumping with most liquid not directly touching the impeller.

They can handle high viscosity liquids up to 700cps, high concentrations of fibrous suspensions, municipal and industrial wastewater plus every kind of sludge with solids to 60% of the port size.

These are very versatile pumps and are being used in applications from agricultural effluent to vegetable washing and DAF sludge in all corners of New Zealand.
