End Suction Closed Impeller
This range of centrifugal pumps with closed impeller [RD] type and open impeller [RG] type, the hydraulic part is in accordance to the EN 22858 chemical rule and mechanical EN 25199, thus defines the max shaft deflection, mechanical resistance and bearing minimum life.
The main aspects of this series are mechanical modularity, interchangeability, sealing systems choice, but also hydraulic design interchangeability (open and closed impellers mounted on the same pump casing) with low NPSH values. This allows use of these pumps in the easiest applications with aggressive liquids to the most demanding applications with suspended solids, high temperatures, high viscosity and specific gravity. Max. operating pressure is 16BAR, but it can reach 20 BAR, when used under certain conditions.

End Suction Channel Impeller
Passage of solid parts, no pulsation, no noise, very good suction characteristics, large impeller width. It is used in a wide range of different applications, suitable for a lot of different installations
High viscous liquids, High efficiency, Low NPSH.
These are the main features of the RB multi-channel impellers which allow these pumps type to obtain high performances in critical conditions. The big suction inlet and the few blades reduce inlet speed and grant very good suction characteristics including when there is gas or air dissolved in the pumped liquid.
Multi-channel impeller allows solid parts (not filamentous) to be transferred without the pump clogging, and it grants very high efficiency, similar to a closed impeller, especially when pumping higher viscous liquids.

End Suction Vortex Impeller
RC pumps use a special recessed vortex impeller placed in the back side of casing, this enables “soft pumping” where most of the liquid crosses the pump casing without directly touching the impeller. This assures that all crystals, delicate solids, peas, corn, beans, olives, seeds, granules, flakes of biologic mud, leather parts can be conveyed without any damage.
Long and filamentous solids pass through the pump without causing any clogging and the vortex impeller is able to pump mixtures up to 50% of air or gas. For this reason these can be used where the liquid has to be scavenged and also great solution also to transfer viscous products up to 1000 cPs.
